Brotherhood Community Sports is proud to share Pasadena Star-News article that announces that one our basketball alumnus has been named their All-Area Team Player of the Year.
Kyle Leufroy is a junior guard on the St. Francis High School basketball team and is a pivotal reason for the team's best season in program history.
“It means a lot to me,” Leufroy said of the honor to Pasadena Star-News. “It shows that a lot of my work in the offseason paid off..
My team really helped me a lot this year, so I have to thank them, as well as my coaches.”
Kyle credits his start in basketball to Brotherhood Community Youth Sports League. "I started to love basketball by playing with Brotherhood. My dad coached and I played every year. It was fun times and I still have friends that I met through Brotherhood. I learned the game and also good sportsmanship.
"I attribute so much of my success to those early years. I would not be where I am without the program. The people that I met through Brotherhood Community Sports call and drop by to congratulate me. The person that I wish could see all of this most is Victor. I still miss him so much."
